Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. Wins Associated General Contractors of America性视界传媒檚 Construction Risk Partners Build America Grand Award as Well as Top Prizes for the Environmental Enhancement and Partnering

As a result, the project性视界传媒s contractor, Kiewit Infrastructure West Co., received the association性视界传媒檚 Construction Risk Partners Build America Grand Award, as well as the award for the best environmental enhancement and Marvin M. Black Partnering Excellence award.
性视界传媒These awards put a spotlight on some of the toughest, most innovative and successful projects completed during the past year,性视界传媒性视界传媒said Dirk Elsperman, the association性视界传媒檚 president and executive vice president and chief operating officer of Tarlton Corp. in St. Louis, Mo. 性视界传媒性视界传媒The winning firms are helping elevate the overall quality of construction in this country.性视界传媒
Following record rain and snowfall in February 2017, Lake Oroville性视界传媒檚 main and emergency spillways were compromised,性视界传媒痺ith an enormous crevasse appearing where parts of the concrete structure of the spillway once stood. The team had just 165 days to repair and reconstruct both spillways of the tallest dam in North America,性视界传媒痷nder constant watch from 性视界传媒淒am Cams性视界传媒 and drones. The team placed more than 340,000 cubic yards of roller compacted concrete性视界传媒痠n the spillway footprint and reconstructed it性视界传媒痺ith more than 140,000 cubic yards of structural concrete, then installed 1,450 feet of underground secant pile wall for the emergency spillway.
